last mile last mile!!! :D

yay!! finally it's the last mile to go!! 2 more weeks i'll be on the plane home!! wohoo~~ back for my anniversary surprise with lotsa great food and also lotsa xmas parties~ ooooooooooo XD

right now it's winter, my last chance to wear all my jackets n coats haha.. must wear everything i cannot wear in sg!! lol.. hope i can get to see some snow for the last time before i leave home ^_^

this 1 year had been really fulfilling! i had loads of fun and laughter, esp with my chestnutties! :D there are definitely loads of things i gonna miss here, but there are also loads of things that i'm looking forward to!

some things i gonna miss in the states:

- fat free milk
when is singapore gonna have those nice healthy milk??

- my CEO chair~~
darn.. i need a teleporter to bring my kewl chair home haha..

- chewing gum
not exactly what i'll miss badly, but at least i know i get to eat this here n not in sg haha..

- courteous friendly americans!! ^_^
that's definitely 1 thing that i'm really gonna miss.. people here are so nice! they'd greet you whenever they see you, even on the streets! and they always hold the door for you if you are entering or leaving a place :)

- poppy seed cake!!
argh!! poppy seeds are banned in SG! T_T simply love the cake manz.. *salivates~
adrian.. can smuggle some back for me? :(

- 4 seasons
ok, this is something that i'll never get in SG haha.. just so cool to see the trees transforming all the time.. botak when i came, grew hair in summer.. then hair turn grey n drop off then become botak again ahahaha...
love the great weather in spring n autumn too!! air con outside!! wohoo~~ SG u just sweat lol..

cool weather also allows me to layer my clothes, lemme experiment with all kinds of clothes combi.. but in sg.. the less u wear the better lol.. tees n shorts haha..

- disposable toilet seat covers
oooo.. 1 of my personal favourites ahahaha... american toilets are CLEAN! cos ppl use disposable toilet seat covers.. in SG? pee all on seat cover.. ewwww... i can never understand this.. if you wanna pee n dirty everywhere becos you refuse to sit on the seat, then don't be so inconsiderate n pee on the seat cover!!! RAWR!!!


and most importantly...
- SHOPPING~
where else in this world can you get great shopping like in the US?? here the branded goods are so much cheaper!! i can buy branded stuffs here for same price as no brand stuffs in SG man!! lol..
and.. ONLINE SHOPPING!! haha.. my indulgence~ no need go out, just surf the net n i still get my retail therapy ahaha... where to shop eBay in SG man.. the online shopping in SG still pretty small.. not attractive enough yet.. i'd rather go orchard rd lol..

and last but not least..
- CHESTNUTTIES!!
had so much fun with this bunch of crazy ppl haha.. it's a great experience to learn how to live outside of the comforts of my home and go rent an apt (yes!! my name's on the lease!! it's my house!! :D), buy all the furniture and cook and clean the whole house by ourselves!!

=> traveling around the states with them!
there's just so much to do in the states.. so many things to explore.. so many entertainment outlets!! singapore is just too small.. no Disneyland, no theme parks with extreme rollercoasters, no pearly island beaches to suntan n see topless pretty girls tanning haha.. and the real point is.. you don't see singaporeans like the americans doing wild n crazy things!! singapore is just too boring.. too small! and history is just zzzz haha.. US there's salem!! witchcraft!! hauntings!! woooo.... there's also prestigious schools like Harvard, MIT, Princeton and of course Wharton at Penn! ^_^ n where else to see the nature's wonders?? mountains, waterfalls (ooo Niagara Falls~) snowstorms.. =X haha.. and also not to forget all the weird festivals that people celebrate here!! halloween, thanksgiving, st. patrick's day.. haha.. more excuses to have fun hehe..


but i had my fun, i had my fill.. n there's so many things that i'm looking forward to too!! ^_^

haven't seen them for so long!!! at last can see my mum.. n see how blur she is like me haha.. no lar kiddin =p

- chinese shows! movies and serial dramas!! haha
there's really a dearth of chinese shows here.. hmm.. there IS no chinese shows here lol... i miss all the shows!! oooooo gonna stick my eyes to the TV liao haha.. n i wanna watch the Jay Chou chinese movie that's coming out!! "Curse Of The Golden Flower" oooooo.. *gleams~

- washing machine!

- sunny weather~
sure get back my tan in no time lol... die >.<

- clean city!!
ooo.. no more spit on the floor.. or less haha.. here everywhere i walk, i see spit on the floor and i see ppl spitting.. ewwww.... not exactly something i can tolerate haha..

- NUS boring lectures!
OMG.. did i just say that?? lol.. yar.. i'm crazy.. kinda miss the old feeling of sitting in a giant lecture theatre with loads of other muggers while i zzzzz ahahahaha..

- weijia!!

yup yup!! this is my biggest event that i'm looking forward to! ooooooo got surprise for me!!! hehe.. got surprise for him too =p ok, no disclosure here haha..
